Laboratory Medical Technologist Full Time

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Laboratory Medical Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and analyses in a timely and accurate manner. You will be working in a laboratory setting and will be required to follow strict safety protocols while handling specimens and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens
• Ensure that all tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Prepare and maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation
• Follow strict safety protocols while handling specimens and chemicals
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth and efficient laboratory operations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory testing procedures and technologies
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory manager or supervisor
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
• Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized accrediting agency
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
