Laboratory - Manager

• The manager is responsible for overall organization, financial/budgetary, planning, personnel and management of the core laboratory.
• This individual is responsible for clinical, technical, administrative, regulatory, and financial management and improvement of core laboratory programs to ensure effectiveness, quality and efficiency.
• This individual is accountable and responsible for the overall core laboratory operations to include but not limited to setting objectives, planning, staffing, and managing activities of assigned departments/areas of responsibility including laboratory, anatomic pathology, and transfusion services.
• The manager ensures professional and customer focused core laboratory services to meet the needs of customers in accordance with accepted standards and practices as well as develops operational infrastructure and implements processes to support new business opportunities and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology

• 5 years sufficient experience in all areas of the laboratory.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in health care management, or equivalent education/ experience
