Our client is seeking a Lab Director to join their team in Upstate New York. The individual in this role will oversee all operations within the organization’s facility. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting cannabis companies and be a team-focused leader.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manages multiple analytical projects within the facility
Experience with lab based method development and optimization
Establishes and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements through documentation, audits, and corrective action.
Oversees all laboratory staff including hiring new team members
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s or PhD degree in a Natural Science or Chemistry required
5+ years of experience running a production lab with ISO 17025 certification is preferred
3+ years of cannabis laboratory management experience is preferred
