What They Are Looking For
Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent Allied Health degree preferred.
Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent to include MT, MLS, CLS, PA preferred. Masters degree preferred.
3-5 years leadership experience required, demonstrating initiative, motivation, and results.
Hours And Compensation Potential
Position is full time.
Range starts at $81K-$110K based on experience.
A full benefit package as well as well a retention bonus.
What You Will Be Doing
The Laboratory Director provides strategic leadership and directs employees in all sections of the laboratory in the performance of tests for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Integrates Clinical Laboratory services with the primary functions of facility.
Demonstrates complete understanding of the role that the clinical laboratory serves in the provision of quality healthcare.
Maintains operational and fiscal responsibility of the department.
Assures regulatory compliance with state and federal regulating bodies.
Responsible for development and implementation of departmental policies.
Allocates and manages the human resources of the department.

The position reports to the VP Operations and work within a great team of caring, compassionate people.
Director will supervise around 42 employees. They have leads for Med Techs, Phlebots and Histotech area.
