As we expand our presence in the US market, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager & Analyst to join our team.



Purpose: The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our key accounts in the United States. This role requires a strategic mindset with strong sales knowledge, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the retail landscape. The KAM will work closely with our marketing, finance, and operations teams to drive sales growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and perform detailed market and sales analysis to support strategic decision-making.



Key Responsibilities:


1) Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related activities and inquiries from the customers and build positive client relationships with IMC.
  • Understand customer needs and work to exceed their expectations through tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts such as Target Costco, etc.


2) Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer data, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with key accounts to maximize profitability.


3) Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, operations) to ensure alignment and execution of sales strategies.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotional activities, and merchandising initiatives with key accounts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability.


4) Analytical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activities.
  • Analyze sales data to provide insights and recommendations for improving performance and achieving targets.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reviews, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations to management.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in key account management in the toy or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with key accounts and attend industry events.
  • Target experience will be highly valuable.
