My client is looking for a Sr Ocean import operator with at least 5 years’ experience in Ocean Import Operations

General Job functions:

• Handling FCL / LCL Import Files
• Liaising with overseas agents/offices
• Quoting overseas / inbound transport costs
• Monitoring Pre-alerts - Arrival notices
• Communication with external customs broker to release goods
• Vendor / Trucking booking / management to end delivery
• End of File billing / Close of file

Ideal Qualifications/Characteristics:

• Proactive and professional attitude
• Confident speaking With Carriers / Vendors
• 5 years + Freight Forwarding industry experience in Ocean Imports
• Comfortable handling a monthly file count of 50+
