Responsibilities

  • Passion to Win
  • Customer Management: own Kroger relationships at region/division level.
  • Cross Functional Partnership: be proactive - identify opportunities and contribute to improving business processes; work collaboratively across departments and with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Business Planning & Analysis: accurate & timely forecasts for case volume, trade spend, and profitability; analyze retailer, syndicated, and VIP data to understand account trends and identify store level opportunities. Develop business plans to maximize Liquid Death sales & share; achieve account level sales & profit targets.
  • Marketplace Execution: meet regularly with field sales teams and distributor partners; quarterly business reviews with customers and DSD distributors.
  • Willingness to Travel: customer appointments, distributor meetings, trade shows, field/market audits, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in Regional / National Account management.
  • DSD experience required.
  • Distributor and key account management required.
  • Startup and beverage experience a major plus.
  • Exceptional negotiator & influencer.
  • Intellectual curiosity. Forward thinker. Owner mentality.
  • Outstanding sales management experience & achievement.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational & analytical skills. Sound understanding of reporting systems including: VIP, Nielsen, IRI, & retailer portal data.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written & verbal.
  • Juggle multiple priorities, manage deadlines both internal and external.

Physical Demands

  • Travel up to 75%.
  • Trade Shows, Events, and Field Work – ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

The typical salary range for this position is : $80k - $98k

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes equity and benefits.
