K12 Educator Learning Designer

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

· The K12 Educator and Learning Designer is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing educational programs and curricula that enhance student learning. This role involves collaborating with other educators, administrators, and stakeholders to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities:

· Consult with education product teams on product design focused on enhancing teaching experiences backed by learning sciences research.

· Evaluate the quality of education products and provide recommendations from an educators’ perspective.

· Experience in successfully designing, developing, delivering and improving high-quality K12 edtech products. Excellent communication, facilitation skills, and creative problem-solving skills.

Experience:

· 4+ years K12 educator / tutoring experience in multiple K12 subjects, either in-person or online.

· Experience teaching educators (e.g. leading teacher professional development sessions at multiple grade levels)

· Prompt engineering using any GenAI tool for education scenarios.

· Fluency with Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
