In this role, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive school environment.

Job Responsibilities:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-3:30 pm
Provide Social Work services and support to Pre-K-4th grade students
Manage a caseload of 20-25 IEP students
Support General Education students as needed
Develop Behavior Intervention Plans
Be a leading part of IEP creation and development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective support plans
Conduct assessments and create intervention strategies to improve student outcomes
Facilitate communication between school and home to ensure a cohesive approach to student well-being
Lead and participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives
Advocate for students' needs and connect them with appropriate community resources
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
Endorsement in Social Work
Experience working with K-4th grade students is preferred, but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in social work and education
