About The Role
The Junior Solar Asset Analyst will monitor Solar Landscape’s solar plants to ensure optimal performance of the portfolio. Overall responsibilities will include project monitoring, performance analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance coordination, and collaborating with other departments to support corporate goals. The Junior Solar Asset Analyst will report to the Director of Asset Management and will work closely with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Engineering, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Solar Landscape solar power plants daily, comparing output to expected and working to ensure all system are performing at or above forecasted production
  • Identify and report system underperformance and alerts to Asset Analysts.
  • Investigate issues and initiate actions to improve portfolio performance
  • Track all system alerts and work with the Asset Analysts to create work orders and coordinate support with the O&M team
  • Optimize monitoring platforms to improve capabilities and response time
  • Prepare system reports for internal and external reporting
  • Optimize and improve reporting tools and templates
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual maintenance activities and reports
  • Support warranty claims process, including processing claims and tracking progress




Qualifications

  • 4-year degree required, Bachelor’s degree in STEM field preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to review and interpret data sets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in advanced computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to read and interpret project and contract specifications.
  • Skilled in understanding electrical and civil engineering drawings
  • Capable of working independently in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Adept at handling complex tasks
  • Project-oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time
  • Organizational and process orientation skills to clearly maintain project. documentation, correspondence, and related files
