We are expanding our footprint in the United States and are growing our US Intelligence department. Our Samy US office is looking for a new Social Media Insights Analyst to join our Intelligence team.
Your main responsibilities:
Support senior members of the Intelligence team with various research tasks from data querying to trends analysis and insights report generation
Generating relevant data sets through boolean queries across different data sources
Trends analysis, utilizing internal tools from social listening to video content analysis to identify relevant trends and creators / influencers that are driving these trends
Audience behavior analysis, using a blend of research methods and internal tools to profile and add depth to target audiences
Creation of data visualizations to bring the data story to life
Lead creation of industry reports and pitch proactive ideas for in-depth research based on industry trends
Contribute to monthly client deliveries, e.g. trend reports through social listening and digital trends analysis
Work closely with the Data Science team to apply advanced analytics methodologies for more efficient and granular analysis
Collaborate with internal strategy and creative departments to support truly data-driven ideas and creative campaigns
What we expect from you:
1-2 years of experience working at marketing or advertising agencies, in Strategy or Insights or Social Media roles, e.g. internship / junior placement
University degree (Marketing, Advertising, Psychology, Communications)
Previous use of social listening and digital analytics tools (Sprinklr, Radarly, Brandwatch, TikTok Analytics etc.)
A keen interest in major social platforms and the digital trends landscape
Immersed in all things social media, knowledgeable about social media trends
Basic understanding of statistics and basic understanding of data visualizations
Strong interest in learning how to transform data into actionable insights
Interest / experience in the beauty industry is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and presenting
Incredibly strong attention to detail and insatiable curiosity
A team player and highly communicative
Selfstarter, driving forward initiatives and ideas
Flourish in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
Proficiency in office suite (Microsoft 365 suite, Google Suite)
