Position Summary

Ferrilli/FIG Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Junior Network Administrator to join our managed services team. This role primarily involves remote service delivery, with occasional on-site visits as needed. As a Junior Network Administrator, you will manage a variety of tasks and projects to ensure seamless network operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships through direct communication with stakeholders.
  • Execute various projects and tasks to maintain network operations.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of logs and alerts, providing prompt issue remediation.
  • Set up and monitor environments using tools such as Pulsway, Kaseya, Rocket Cyber, Datto EDR, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Offer expert escalation support through centralized and client helpdesk systems.
  • Install and configure fault tolerance solutions for optimal network reliability.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Maintain and update Meraki switches and firewalls, Sonicwall, and Extreme switches.
  • Install, configure, update, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and availability issues to ensure network efficiency.
  • Assist clients in planning for new servers, storage, and resource allocation.
  • Implement and manage enterprise backup plans and solutions to safeguard data.
  • Collaborate with the security team to remediate issues and fulfill security initiatives.
  • Handle tasks related to Active Directory users, groups, group policy, DNS, DHCP, and more.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of hands-on network experience in an enterprise environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

Preferred

  • Microsoft and vendor-specific certifications to demonstrate specialized expertise.
  • Prior experience in consulting or managed services, showcasing a valuable skill set.

Please note that this position requires you to be onsite in Haddonfield five days a week.
