Responsibilities
Work with Steelman Partners architects, graphic artists, and interior design team to collaborate on how light will factor into the overall design of the space to make it more inviting.
Collaborate with senior designers and architects to understand project requirements and objectives.
Assist in developing lighting concepts, mood boards, and initial design proposals.
Prepare detailed lighting plans, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
Research lighting fixtures, technologies, and materials to support design development.
Attend client meetings and presentations to contribute insights and support design discussions.
Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in lighting design.
Requirements
Knowledge of lighting products and fixtures
Understanding of electronics and experience with lighting for design spaces
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient with Revit
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
