Junior Interior Designer

We are hiring a Junior Interior Designer to join a highly collaborative, fast-paced studio styled team of interior designers and architects in a multi-discipline environment. We specialize in large custom homes (10,000SF+). The ideal candidate will be involved in all phases of highly technical custom residential projects from programming, schematic design, detailed design, and construction administration. The position requires a high level of commitment to teamwork and collaboration. As a member of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Handling conceptual, schematic, and development designs
• Providing design support.
• Developing space planning concepts.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in interior design or related field preferred
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize project workload and time sensitive tasks
• Keen and effective attention to detail is a must
• Knowledge of software including Sketch Up, Bluebeam, IHMS (or other builder software) and Microsoft Office (to include Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Working experience with Revit is highly preferred
• Take initiative and have a proven record of seeking out mentors to further career development
• Submission of design portfolio encouraged
