Duties And Responsibilities

Anticipated Achievements:

  • Achieving a 95% completion rate for process checklists by the specified deadline.
  • Dedicated to familiarizing myself with our vendors, acquiring proficiency in all vendors' styles and price points, and designing within budget and style.
  • Producing documentation with at least 75% accuracy and delivering the following documents to the Project Manager on time:
    • All design documents
    • All interior specifications
    • All client files, accordions notebooks, etc.
  • Devoting myself to mastering all DDG’s processes by completing all required work with 75% accuracy, including but not limited to:
Programming

  • Enthusiastically participating in site measurements, creating existing furniture/room photo inventory & entering AutoCAD with site measurements.
  • Looking forward to attending the Programming Meeting with the Principal and Lead Designer.

Schematic Design

  • Excited about reviewing "yes" fabric inspirations and meeting notes.
  • Eager to design alongside the Principal, Lead Designer, and Senior Design Drafter.
  • Committed to labeling all selected items, ensuring proper attention to the location, sizes, etc., per design direction.
  • Ready to update/create all floor plans, elevations, design details, etc., in AutoCAD as directed by Sr. DD.
  • Prepared to create presentations as needed based on deadlines.
  • Willing to prepare the presentation setup with the Project Coordinator.

Construction Documents

  • Excited to collaborate in the selection of all fixed finishes.
  • Creating an interior specification binder with all details.

Design Documents

  • Genuinely interested in pricing and creating all spec sheets.
  • Eager to print updated 24x36 floor plans for presentation.
  • Looking forward to attending presentations as requested.
  • Prepared to create custom spec sheets for any reselects after Principal approval.

Art + Accessories:

  • Thrilled to create an Accessories Shopping list and presentation as directed by Principal and Lead Designer.
  • Excited to place and track online orders from PM and/or Senior Designer.

Installation: Committed to attending installation as requested by PM and/or Senior Designer.

  • Be a master at all technical programs. Be able to know the functionality of the following technical programs as they relate to DDG’s needs: Excel, PowerPoint, In-Design, and Photoshop, Sprout Social, Word Press and Studio Webware.
  • Can-do Attitude. Be flexible to an interchange of who does what because every project is different. Be ready to help around the office when you have free time.

Commit to your outcomes by establishing a clear work plan for each outcome. Get and stay organized. Be proactive and pay attention to detail. Avoid interesting activities (phones, emails, texting, etc.) that distract you from your outcomes.

Always be looking for ways to add value to our customers and our business. Stay fresh, stay new. Don’t get bogged down or bored. Constantly work on growing and improving yourself.
