JOB REQUIREMENT
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited university. A minimum of two years prior design firm experience is a must. To be considered, one must have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other digital space planning and rendering tools. Additionally, candidates must have professional written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, and have the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
Employees are required to work from the home office Monday - Thursday with the option of working remotely on Friday each week.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Manager in Coordination/Meetings with Client, Architects, Contractors, Painters, Electricians, Vendors, or any other party involved in the Project.
Develop Working Drawings & Details into Construction Drawings & Renderings
Understand Basic Construction & Fabrication Techniques to Inform the Development of Interior Construction & Furniture Detail Drawings
Assist Project Manager in Project Supervision including Scheduling, Contractor Coordination, and Sub-Contractor Management
Assist Project Manager with Client Account Management including Order Processing, Invoicing, Vendor Payment and Notebook Organization
Assist Project Manager in Coordinating/Supervising Project Installations
Manage Particular Projects, Individually, with Oversight from Project Manager
Produce Goal for Billable Hours on Project Work Per Month and Account for Time Within Time Billing System, Weekly
Promote Firm and Employees by Attending Openings and Functions Provided by Trade Members
Assist in Maintaining Orderly Samples Library & Developing Processes to Organize New Vendor Resources
