The Role
As a Junior Graphic Designer at Absolutely Ridiculous, you’ll be a part of a creative team that will challenge your creativity and imagination. A brand that is focused on pushing the boundaries, challenging the norm, and reimagining sports as we know it through art. In this position, you will be working day to day with the Creative Director helping complete and review tech packs, design apparel, design marketing graphics, etc. This is a fast paced work environment with significant opportunity for growth in the company.
What You’ll Get To Do
Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and graphic designs for sporting goods, apparel, marketing materials, logos, etc.
Assist in the creation of designs that are visually appealing and on-brand.
Modify and revise existing designs to improve design quality.
Create, monitor, and update tech packs for Senior Designers.
Research and stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices to ensure that our designs are innovative and effective.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines.
Shadow the Founder and Creative Director.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
1-2 years of relevant experience in a design role
A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects
Knowledge of design trends and principles
Familiarity with project management and workflow tools such as Slack
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Basic understanding of print and web design principles
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to take direction and work independently
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
