Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience specifically in site utility projects within Chicago
  • Experience working on CDOT (Chicago Department of Transportation) projects preferred
  • Experience interning at a Heavy Civil General Contractor (1 year +)


Description:

  • Assist in the planning and management of underground utility projects
  • Growth from the Junior Engineer position into an Estimating Role
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Conduct site surveys and investigations
  • Coordinate with project team members and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Support project documentation and reporting
