Overview: GSquared Group is currently partnered with one of our key enterprise clients, and Fortune 500 consumer retailer, to identify an entry-level Junior Data Analyst to join their growing Decision Analytics team on a long-term contract basis (and possibility of converting over to FTE status within the year) This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. While related internships or up to one year of job experience is advantageous, we prioritize candidates with a strong aptitude for data analysis and a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions and initiatives.
Use data analysis software such as SQL, Python, R, etc., to extract, transform, and manipulate data for reporting and insights.
Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate and timely analysis.
Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
Support data-driven projects and initiatives across various departments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry.
Related internships or up to one year of job experience in data analysis or a related field is a plus.
