For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.

What We Are Looking For: Junior Camp Counselors

Where: Camp Spectacular located in Glenville, NY at our Clover Patch Camp.

As a Junior Camp Counselor you will lead structured activities including teambuilding, outdoor activities, athletics, recreational swimming, art, and music for our campers (aged 6 - 18).

The Camp Spectacular program is run by certified special education teachers and master social workers, and supported by Junior Camp Counselors, like you, specializing in working with children with autism spectrum disorders.

Dates of Camp: 7/22/2024-8/9/2024

Orientation - 7/19/2024

Week 1 (7/22 - 7/26) - 8:30am-4:30pm

Week 2 (7/29 - 8/2) - 8:30am-4:30pm

Week 3 (8/5 - 8/9) - 8:30am-4:30pm

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred but not required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to apply for this position
  
  

The pay for this position is a fixed rate of $15.00 an hour.
