We're seeking a talented Assistant Database Administrator to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining and supporting our SQL Server-based applications, ensuring smooth operations and efficient data management.

What you'll do:

• Assist the Database Administrator with various tasks, including data transfers, software installations, and server maintenance.
• Take ownership of Level 1 support tasks, resolving routine issues and accurately assigning tickets.
• Develop and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity.
• Create and deliver technical documentation and training materials for various systems.
• Develop and manage a hardware/software inventory system for effective resource management.
• Craft and maintain Enterprise Reports using InfoMaker and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Write and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and batch files to automate processes.
• Collaborate with Web Applications staff on developing and maintaining internal database applications.
  
  

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience working with MS SQL Server and SQL applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines consistently.
• Familiarity with Jenzabar or similar administrative computing systems is a plus.
• Experience writing SQL queries and reports is essential.
