We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • PC Setups and Migrations:
  • Set up and configure new PCs, ensuring all necessary software and hardware are installed.
  • Migrate data and applications from old systems to new ones while minimizing downtime for users.
  • SharePoint and OneDrive:
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, ensuring they are organized and accessible to users.
  • Oversee OneDrive for Business, providing support and troubleshooting for end-users.
  • Office 365:
  • Administer and support Office 365 applications and services, including email, collaboration tools, and productivity software.
  • Monitor and manage Office 365 security settings and compliance.
  • Account Setup and Management:
  • Create and manage user accounts in Azure Active Directory, ensuring proper access controls and security.
  • Assist with group policy management and configuration.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding:
  • Facilitate the IT onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and access to perform their job duties.
  • Manage the offboarding process, ensuring data security and proper account deactivation.
  • Ticketing System:
  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system for future reference.
  • Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems to senior staff as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems and applications.
  • Exchange:
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Exchange, including email setup, migration, and security.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency with PC setup and data migration.
  • Experience with SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and processes.
  • Understanding of onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and email administration.
