Job Summary:
The Journeyman Operator – LIMA Level 2 position will provide 24/7 operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest. The Operational Language Analyst will perform a variety of tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations. The ideal candidate will provide substantially experienced geolocation and language analysis operations in support of real-world missions.
Duties And Responsibilities
Perform 24/7 operations in support of mission sets.
Provide language translations of collected materials.
Perform tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest.
Directly interface with customer
Work in groups or independently with minimal or no supervision
Will be required to work odd shifts, weekends, and/or extended hours.
Mentor less experienced operators in order to enhance and reinforce training programs and operational TTPs.
Qualifications
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (CI Poly is acceptable but must be able to pass Full Scope Polygraph)
Perform 24/7/365 operations to include Shift Work if required.
Minimum of two years’ applicable operational experience within the past five years performing geolocation operations within the DOD and IC organizations
Minimum of four years of experience as a DOD cryptologic language professional
Successful completion of Passive Geolocation Course
Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
Active 2/2 DLPT scores in target languages within the last two years.
Successfully completed one of the following Active certifications: GSM, CDMA, UMTS, 802.11, EV-DO or LTE
Candidate must possess strong leadership skills.
Basic computer skills are required.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
Preferred Skills And Education
Certification in geolocation techniques via customer training programs
Successful completion of NCS Cryptologic Skills course or military equivalent courses
Prior military and/or government experience
Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in one or more of the following languages: Arabic Levantine; Arabic Yemeni; Arabic Iraqi; Pashto; Russian; Persian Farsi
