Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research, interviews, and investigations to gather accurate and

relevant information.

• Write engaging news articles, reports, features, and editorials that adhere to high

journalistic standards of accuracy, objectivity, and fairness.

• Collaborate with editors and fellow journalists to develop compelling story ideas and

angles.

• Fact-check and verify information from multiple sources to ensure the accuracy of

your work.

• Stay informed about current events, trends, and developments across various beats.

• Produce multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and interactive graphics, to

enhance storytelling.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and industry best practices in reporting and writing.

• Manage and meet deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.

• Engage with audiences through various digital platforms, fostering meaningful

discussions around news topics.

• Continuously adapt to new developments and shifts in news priorities.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.

• Strong writing and communication skills, with an ability to craft clear, concise, and

engaging content.

• Curiosity and a deep interest in current events, politics, culture, science, and more.

• Proficiency in research techniques and information-gathering from diverse sources.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

• Experience with digital tools, multimedia content creation, and social media platforms.

• Ethical awareness and a commitment to responsible and balanced reporting.

• Flexibility to adapt to evolving news situations and meet tight deadlines.

• Previous experience in journalism or relevant internships is a plus.

Call for Internship

TheSocialTalks are now open for internships and we welcome all the students who wish to

spread their wisdom through words.


Stipend: UNPAID [The internship begins as an unpaid opportunity, but there is potential for it to

transition into a paid position based on performance during the internship period.]

Duration: Two months
