Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Albany, New York Metropolitan Area. As a Jeweler at Mayfair Jewelers, Stores, your day-to-day tasks will involve designing, crafting, and repairing various types of jewelry. You will work with precious metals and gemstones, and use specialized tools and equipment to create unique pieces. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of jewelry techniques and design principles are essential in this role. Relocation assistance may be available for this position .

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bench Jeweler.5 + years minium
• Proficiency in jewelry design, metalworking, stone setting, and finishing techniques
• Knowledge of different gemstones and their properties
• Familiarity with jewelry tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Creativity and an eye for design
• Understanding of safety procedures and protocols in a jewelry workshop
• Master bench experience in a jewelry store or workshop .
• Relevant certification or degree in jewelry making or a related field is a plus
