Position: Java Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract with possible extension.

Remote Until Covid.

Domain exp. Must: Telecom, Media, Broadcasting & Networking

  • Core Java (Collections, Concurrency, Java 8), OOP and OOD.
  • Networking experience must.
  • Agile project execution using Jira.
  • Splunk, Consul.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Master’s preferred.
  • General software design principles
  • Java 8 features | Optional, Stream, Lambda, Predicates, Functional Interface etc..
  • Java 8 Stream API | Hands on coding
  • Java 8 Concurrency API | Design principles of concurrent applications
  • REST API design principles
  • Microservices design patterns
  • Asynchronous microservice architecture
  • Code Review | Clean Code/Code Refactoring
