ITSM Configuration Manager

The IT Configuration Manager conducts detailed process and data analysis, leads the development of CMDB solutions, and drives the implementation of configuration management processes. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and executing configuration management activities, maintaining CMDB health and integrity, and establishing and communicating SLAs. Additionally, the Configuration Manager is responsible for cataloging and tracking configuration items, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, providing training to personnel, and leading process improvement initiatives. Collaboration with various functional teams and participation in governance meetings are also essential aspects of this role.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications

BS required; in lieu of degree, 10 years of IT configuration experience required. 5 to 7 years of experience with IT configuration management policies and procedures, instructions, and standards. Advance understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. Experience communicating directly with stakeholders up to executive leadership to illicit requirements, request information and/or support, and follow on actions. Working knowledge of ServiceNow Configuration Management, Discovery and additional ITSM modules. Knowledge of MS Suite of tools. Proven ability to solve problems creatively. ITIL v3 or v4 Certification preferred.
