Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining, configuring and supporting all computer system needs. This individual performs backups, patches and upgrades to ensure that systems are stable, reliable and recoverable.

Essential Functions

• Primarily responsible for data retention and security.
• Ensure critical files and folders are protected and recoverable from backup.
• Manage offsite Granite Mountain storage plan and rotation.
• Routinely test backups for assurance on key systems.
• Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems on all systems, inclusive of Windows/PC, Mac’s, IBM Mainframe, and mobile to ensure that computer systems are updated, running efficiently and are secure.
• Manage Active Directory and performs audits routinely to ensure system security.
• Purchase, install and maintain approved servers, desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and all other hardware.
• Maintain and routinely test UPS units, generators and battery units both internally and at remote sites.
• Manage the system and retail IT team.
• Provide 24/7 support for critical situations.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required
• 10-15 years of experience in systems administration required
• Experience with VMware and Virtual Servers preferred
• IBM Mainframe experience preferred
• Sever and Database backup experience preferred
• Proficiency in Active Directory and Windows & Mac deployment
  
  
  

Additional Information

This position is located onsite at our corporate office in Salt Lake City, UT. Relocation will be required if you are not local.
