Atomic Arcade is a brand-new video game development studio located in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area led by industry veterans from AAA game and film studios. We are in the process of staffing up our development team with outstanding talent to build our first multi-platform, AAA game - a bold and contemporary new take on the GI JOE Universe starring the legendary character Snake Eyes! This is an excellent opportunity to not only build an outstanding AAA experience but to also help form the core foundations for the studio and team to build upon. We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Admin that will support the computer hardware and software needs for a group of home-based and office-based employees located around the world.

We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Admin that will support the computer hardware and software needs for a group of home-based and office-based employees located around the world.
What You'll Do
- Manage asset and software provisioning and inventory across disparate geographical locations.
- Support Employees’ IT needs, including crafting rational strategies for OS, anti-virus, and security updates.
- In conjunction with game teams, evaluate and deploy company-wide tools.
- Develop a proactive approach towards security and preventative maintenance.
- Provide Help Desk support for a growing studio and it's development partners.
- Diagnose and collect relevant data for solving problems.
- Set up and install workstations for current and new employees.
- Admin and troubleshoot software applications.
- Install software and software updates/patches.
- Maintain current documentation for IT solutions.
- Work collaboratively with other IT staff and office staff internally and with external partners.
- Pick up, package, and ship equipment to employees, and handle the return of company equipment.
- Supervise and handle equipment inventory, software license expirations and arrange for renewals where appropriate.
- Experience implementing standard methodologies in IT.
- Proficient in implementing Office 365, Jira/Confluence, AWS, Slack, and domain/DNS configuration.
- Experience with provisioning Windows and macOS systems.
- Ability to perform and lead the entire setup and maintenance of an office with internet connectivity.
- Demonstrated ability to configure, maintain, and fix networks, systems, and applications.
- Strong writing skills for authoring knowledge-based articles, policies, and procedures.
- Proficient in online ticketing tools to support remote workers.
- Ability to take initiative in learning new concepts, seeking additional information, and asking questions of co-workers when uncertain.
- Experience with giving and receiving feedback.
- Experience multi-tasking and adapting easily to change.
- Passion for games.
- Enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented; must have the ability to interact and collaborate with all departments and teams.
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated, can perform duties with little guidance.
- Starting Pay Range: $86,800
- Pay Range End: $146,760
