In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to adapt to dynamic environments rapidly.


As an IT Support Trainer you will be working closely with a team of developers and engineers working in an Agile environment that develops innovative solutions to modernize our customer applications and implement efficiencies and methods to improve and automate our customer's business processes.


What you will do:


  • Design, develop, and deliver detailed training materials to include training course work, agendas, briefs, white papers, user guides, surveys, feedback etc.
  • Primary responsibility for generating all training materials (documentation and videos) for consumption by the solution's end users.
  • Partner with the Business Analysts to understand the customer's business requirements at a fundamental level.
  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute in accordance with approved plans.
  • ​​Support the project manager and development team by identifying and developing the product roadmap, project milestones, phases, and elements, as well as design documentation and customer presentation.
  • Work with product owners, developers, and subject matter experts to understand and document business logic and process flows.
  • Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management, identify trends and errors, and review data, and they will offer strong report writing skills.
  • Provide technical support for products and customized desktop applications, web applications, databases, user account administration issues, and technical/functional support for individual user problems.


What you will bring:


  • A minimum of 5 years in an IT Support/ Trainer role.
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills.
  • An ability to author comprehensive end-user documentation that guides a user through complicated, multi-step operations to perform a function.
  • An ability to conduct live training sessions for a group of users with a disparate range of functional knowledge and computer skills.
  • An ability to understand complex business processes and break them down into smaller, manageable pieces.
  • Experience running and facilitating the backlog grooming sessions and developing acceptance criteria for software development projects.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a background screening and obtain and maintain Public Trust.



It would be great if you also had:


  • Experience with supporting delivery of low-code platforms including Pega, Salesforce, Appian, or ServiceNow.
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment and facilitating interactions between product owners, business customers, and technical team members.
  • Experience in supporting multiple projects.
