IT Support Specialist

Kaimetrix is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and equipment, providing direct hands-on support to enhance the success of classroom activities and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot computer issues
• Manage file permissions
• Conduct equipment refreshes, including the Firefly project refresh in G5
• Perform USMT backup and restore
• Configure and update hardware and software
• Support Samsung devices, including importing certificates
• Provide conference room support, including connecting to wireless networks, and managing audio and video setups
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware and software issues efficiently
• Strong knowledge of network configuration, including client image management
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication skills, capable of working constructively with end users and team members
• Previous experience working in a government or law enforcement environment is preferred
• Commitment to providing high-level support with minimal disruption to users
• Ability to obtain a government clearance
  
  

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
