IT Support Specialist

ANINE BING is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join the team in Los Angeles.

The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance for various user-end technologies, including desktop computers, iPhones, iPads, printers, and point-of-sale equipment, while maintaining network configurations and device functionality across the company.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn new technologies and actively contributes to IT initiatives in security, connectivity, and improving the employee experience. They have strong problem-solving and communication skills, keen attention to detail, and excel in time management. Success in this role also requires adaptability to a multicultural work environment and a proactive approach to deadlines, working closely with leadership to develop sustainable systems for the company.

This role is based at our Los Angeles HQ and reports to the Sr. Director of IT.

Responsibilities Include

  • Management of the company’s fleet of PCs and Macbooks, including the establishment of best practices for configuring and securing these devices.
  • Harness the power of MDM technologies and apps to effectively manage and secure corporate devices.
  • Design and implement wireless networks for retail locations, incorporating switch and router configurations as appropriate for the store configuration.
  • Plan, configure, and maintain office telecommunications and conferencing equipment.
  • Effectively manage GSuite, MS Office, Slack, and associated technologies for seamless operations.
  • Document the configuration, best practices, and any other relevant topics for colleagues and contractors.
  • Identify and engage vendors to assist the company in meeting today’s demands of the IT's current and future state.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of experience as an IT Support Specialist
  • Solid understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Familiarity using MDM solutions to facilitate remote setup and security of devices
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Soft/ interpersonal skills, ex: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be on call after hours and on weekends when necessary
  • Ability to work independently on projects and tasks with limited oversight
  • This role is hybrid and requires in-office attendance on Wednesdays and Thursdays at a minimum.

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000
