About Your Next Opportunity

HTC is seeking a well-organized IT Supervisor to join our IT Operations team.


As the IT Help Desk team leader, your primary responsibility is to lead the team in maintaining and enhancing IT operations. This encompasses directing efforts in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, asset management, equipment procurement, responding to user inquiries, and basic IT infrastructure upkeep. The role involves strategic collaboration with the corporate IT department to ensure system reliability and efficiency, supporting the organization's technology needs and boosting productivity.



Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leadership and Multiple-Platform Support:

  • Lead and troubleshoot issues on Windows and Mac computers, ensuring optimal functionality.

User Office Software:

  • Oversee the use of M365 Office, MS Teams, Office software for Mac, and Trend Micro antivirus software, ensuring effective deployment and usage.

IT Asset Management:

  • Direct and oversee IT assets for accurate inventory management and efficient allocation.

Procurement:

  • Ensure the cost-effective purchasing of compatible IT equipment.

User Account Management:

  • Handle creation, management, and troubleshooting of user accounts across Microsoft AD, email, and MFA platforms.

Network Maintenance:

  • Apply basic network knowledge to upkeep wired and wireless systems, ensuring reliability and security. Coordinate with HQ's network team for sustained operations.



Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)

  • Associate's in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of technical experience in troubleshooting desktop/laptop hardware and software issues.
  • 2+ years of experience managing IT assets effectively.
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing computer equipment according to company needs.
  • Ability to handle user inquiries promptly and provide effective solutions.
  • Knowledge in basic maintenance of IT infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding teams and projects toward successful outcomes.
  • Ability to work closely with the corporate IT department to maintain system reliability and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical issues swiftly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with users and documenting procedures.
  • Can adapt to rapidly changing technology environments and user needs.
  • Experience with Office 365, MS Teams, and Mac Office software
  • Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
  • Possess IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation).



Working Conditions

  • Primary work location is indoors.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment.
  • The employee is regularly required to sit.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands & arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

At the time of posting, HTC's estimated annual base salary for this position is $77,574 - $111,590 USD. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including candidate skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary bonus programs.
