The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for THREE, Information Technology (IT) Specialist (GS-2210-12) – to perform as Senior System Analysts (SSA), to work at the 81st Training Support Squadron, on Keesler Air Force Base (AFB), in Biloxi, Mississippi.


Salary ($86,962 - $98,555) based on experience

Qualifications/Requirements:

In this position you will serve as a SSA, IT Specialist and team lead for multiple internal projects with responsibility of designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex application software that meets functional requirements of various training organizations.



Must be a U.S. Citizen


Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Top Secret” Security clearance.


This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position.


Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance Certification; SEC + within 6-months of assigned duties.


HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

Software Engineering/Programming

Application Development/Programming


In-depth knowledge of software design principles methods and approaches


Knowledge of complex systems software and systems development life cycles, including systems documentation, design development, configuration management cost analysis, systems integration, and testing.


In-depth knowledge of IT applications software concepts, principles, methods and practices.


Knowledge of software programming languages such as JAVA, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Visual Studio and Delphi.


Ability to analyze organizational application software requirements, develop supportable recommendations for enhancement, apply CASE tools, and design, write, code, debug, test and maintain applications.
