Notice to Applicants: This exciting opportunity is an in office position M-F between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm. This position is full-time and on-site at our office in Valencia Ca.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Specialist to join our team. We have a lot of tech-savvy people and a software engineering team, but we’re lacking a dedicated team member for our IT infrastructure and hardware. This role will help our company implement our IT strategy to bring our operations into the future.

Responsibilities:

Deploy and manage all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, and telecommunications systems Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications as needed in keeping with our cybersecurity protocols and business needs.

Support our software engineers and our operations leaders for key automation and data pipeline initiatives. Assist in managing RPA tools and automated scripts to streamline operations and ensure flow of data.

Provide technical support, education, and troubleshooting for employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

Help foster a culture of technical excellence and learning for our less tech-savvy colleagues

Monitor system performance and security alerts, ensuring all systems are up-to-date with patches and antivirus definitions. Manage automated backups of business critical data and implement disaster recovery plans if needed.

Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring data integrity and security.

Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions that could benefit the company's operations or improve efficiency. Recommend IT changes based on industry shifts, technical developments, and business needs.

Collaborate with external vendors and service providers ensure technical excellence and procure IT equipment and services as needed.

Support our business objectives by problem solving and building solutions, leveraging your hardware and software expertise.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role, preferably in a mid-sized company setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite; familiarity with MacOS and Linux is a massive plus.

Strong knowledge of scripting, automation tools, network protocols, security standards, and data privacy practices.

Experience with troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are desirable.
