Strider needs an IT Specialist with a rich technical skillset and a strong desire to provide superior internal customer service. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of Strider’s IT network and for providing technical and educational support to all users of SSI’s network and peripherals. We are looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented individual who is happy to dive in and tackle projects that help the entire staff do their jobs more efficiently. Day-to-day tasks might range from IT and network security to integrating and debugging third party software to helping the systems team with scripting and automation.

Possess a knowledge of Strider and the market we serve
Have extensive knowledge of Microsoft user / PC management and Microsoft Office Suite

Serve as a brand ambassador for Strider

Hardware set up and troubleshooting
Network Management and Configuration
Software set up and troubleshooting
Hardware/Software updates
Hardware and technology asset inventory management
Qualifications:
Ability to make decisions and problem solve
Desire to assist all employees to ensure their day is IT efficient
Experience with Network/Firewall system set up and configuration
Understanding of importance of system and process documentation on a continual basis
Scripting/Programming/Database experience is a plus!

Physical Demands:
Able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.

Location and hours:
This position is located in Rapid City, SD
Regular office hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30am to 5 pm and Friday 8 to 12
Hours will need to be flexed to achieve a 40 hour week
Pay:
$19 to $26 per hour depending on experience and up to 20% annual bonus eligibility
