IT Specialist

INSPYR Solutions Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat
  • Liaison with vendors for maintenance and repair of hardware and software
  • Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Image computers, net new, refresh, or same model replacement
  • Determine the best solution based on systems analysis techniques and procedures, when consulting with customers, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, based on and related to user or system design specifications
  • Maintain supply inventory; paper, ink, envelopes, etc.
  • Interact with managers, supervisors and employees for maintenance of forms design, processing and delivery methods
  • Use check systems to process, print, log and deliver various types of company checks
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events, problems, and resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Pass feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • 3+ years of experience in help desk technician role or similar
  • 3+ years of experience Windows operating systems troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Office 365
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Intune
  • Hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
  • Willingness and ability to learning new technologies
  • Detail oriented to keep notes on tickets
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to provide after-hours support as needed
  • Communicating in English to locate, read, and report information
