IT Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated IT Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining the company's IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to IT service delivery.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Manage user accounts and permissions, including Active Directory and other authentication systems.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and patches.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement preventive maintenance measures.
• Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and applications.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (relevant certifications and experience may substitute).
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure components.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
