IT Solutions Analyst

Roles And Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Document detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Solution Evaluation and Recommendation:
• Evaluate existing IT systems and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Research and assess new technology solutions, vendors, and products that align with business needs.
• Recommend IT solutions, tools, and strategies to address business challenges and support growth.
• System Design and Development Support:
• Assist in translating business requirements into technical specifications and system design documents.
• Collaborate with IT architects and developers to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Participate in the design and development of prototypes, proof of concepts (POCs), and pilot projects.
• Project Coordination and Management:
• Support project managers in planning, coordinating, and managing IT projects and initiatives.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
• User Training and Support:
• Provide training and support to end-users on new IT systems, tools, and applications.
• Develop user documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources.
• Address user inquiries, issues, and enhancement requests related to IT solutions.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains through IT solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT systems and solutions.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as an IT Solutions Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT systems analysis and project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of IT systems, architectures, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
