IT Security Analyst

Position Purpose: This position will support the business in reaching success and profitability goals through risk reduction efforts regarding AvaSure product vulnerability management and support current customer security assessments. Education & Experience Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Engineering required. CompTIA Security+ required. CISSP, or CEH Certification preferred. 3 years of experience in IT and/or cyber security requierd. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in understanding and leveraging Microsoft Windows. Proficient in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-motivated; able to manage time and multi-task effectively Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Implementation and Deployment Security Framework: Create internal to AvaSure systems HITRUST or SOC2. Develop IT security policies and conduct an annual review for recertification. Product vulnerability management : Company Subject Matter Expert on Vulnerabilities and Weakness. Lead, Maintain, and Improve vulnerability management program. Lead/Conduct vulnerability Detection, Identification, Investigation & Mitigation for non-AvaSure products Lead Penetration Testing efforts around AvaSure products Work with customer service team on end-user communications (Release notes and Vulnerability notices). Work with current customers and internal resources to facilitate the completion of Customer Security Assessments Competencies & Work Style: Professional Communication Proficiency. Organizational Skills. Ethical Conduct. Supervisory Requirements None Work Environment & Physical Demands: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods and use a computer. This position is full-time. The position is considered hybrid, visiting Belmont, MI as needed or once a month. Why AvaSure?
