Job Description
Position Title: IT Operations Manager
Location: Washington, DC (on-site)
Clearance: TS/SCI. Due to the nature of this government contract, U.S. Citizenship is required.
NEOSTEK, Inc. is looking for an IT Operations Manager who manages a team of system engineers, network engineers, and help desk analysts providing 24/7/365 support of a TS/SCI information systems enclave. The ideal candidate will lead by example in demonstrating superior customer service to stakeholders and end users and developing documentation and reports. This role requires a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI. While a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, equivalent experience is also considered. While certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory.

NEOSTEK, Inc. is looking for an IT Operations Manager who manages a team of system engineers, network engineers, and help desk analysts providing 24/7/365 support of a TS/SCI information systems enclave. The ideal candidate will lead by example in demonstrating superior customer service to stakeholders and end users and developing documentation and reports. Responsibilities:
- Review current support processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Review all related documentation and delegate development of knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, how-to guides, architecture diagrams, etc.
- Develop reports and dashboards showing team performance and system and network performance, incidents, patching, etc.
- Develop and deliver training to team members on how to perform their duties and provide excellent customer support.
- Brief organizational IT leadership on the status of workstreams, projects, and support efforts.
- Work on site 5 days per week, with some flexibility to occasionally come in during off hours to evaluate staff and provide training
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
- 7+ years managing a help desk and/or IT operations, with 2+ years specifically in network and systems operations management.
- 3+ years experience managing systems and or networks.
- PMP certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of IT systems in a Windows environment, networks, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience training IT staff to provide better customer service.
- Experience using SharePoint and Teams to communicate with teams and customers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to include excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to translate IT executives' requests into actionable work products and to develop usable, accessible training, documentation, and reports.
- Must be a strong team player, willing to do what it takes to help the organization improve and create win-win scenarios.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Due to the nature of this government contract, US citizenship is required.
- A current TS clearance.
- 5+ years managing a help desk and/or IT operations.
