Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Network Administrator to join our smart electronics manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in network management and system administration, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and 5S methodology. This role requires flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and support various shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design and Management: Design, implement, and maintain the facility’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
System Administration: Administer and support critical systems, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and other integrated platforms essential for smart electronics manufacturing.
Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues to minimize production downtime.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to and enforce safety protocols, GMP, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements, and 5S standards to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering departments, to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
Security: Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with industry standards.
Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor network performance and system health, generating regular reports and metrics to support operational efficiency.
User Support: Provide technical support and training to staff, addressing IT-related issues and ensuring efficient use of network resources.
Flexible Schedule: Adapt to varying work schedules, including on-call duties and potential off-hours support, to meet operational demands.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP, MES, and other ERP systems.
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Experience with network security principles and practices.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud services.
Knowledge of 5S methodology and GMP requirements.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
