The Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst is responsible for ensuring the precision, uniformity, and integrity of the organization's master data. This pivotal role involves overseeing data quality, setting data governance frameworks, and liaising with various departments to facilitate informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is analytically driven, meticulously attentive, and brings relevant experience from the manufacturing sector. This role will report to the IT ERP Tech Lead.

- Administer and uphold master data in ERP and additional business systems.
- Guarantee prompt and accurate data entry and modifications.
- Address and rectify data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Formulate and apply procedures for data quality verification and validation.
- Perform routine audits to affirm data precision and completeness.
- Proactively identify and amend data quality issues.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify data ownership and custodial duties.
- Train and educate staff on data management protocols.
- Evaluate master data to uncover trends, patterns, and deviations.
- Produce reports and dashboards to aid business operations and decision-making.
- Offer insights and recommendations through data analysis.
- Spot opportunities to refine data management workflows.
- Engage in initiatives to bolster data management systems and infrastructure.
- Document and optimize data management practices.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years in master data management, data governance, or similar roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Infor, SAP, Oracle) and data management tools.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional detail orientation and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Certifications like Certified Data Management Professional or Six Sigma are beneficial.
- Data Accuracy Commitment to ensuring data is precise, comprehensive, and consistent.
- Analytical Thinking Ability to dissect data and processes for issue identification and opportunity discovery.
- Detail-Oriented Focus on meticulousness and executing tasks with supreme accuracy.
