OVERVIEW

Vaco Dallas is currently seeking a Manager of Buesiness Applications for a direct hire opportunity in Addison. TX The Manager of Business Applications will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in Oracle EBS, migration projects, and integrating various internal applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable business solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize extensive Oracle EBS experience to manage and enhance our ERP systems.
• Support and contribute to migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Integrate Oracle EBS with over 50 internal applications and supporting systems.
• Provide strong leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Work autonomously to drive projects forward and achieve business objectives.
• Configure Oracle EBS to optimize performance and meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions to maintain system integrity.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between IT and business teams.
• Apply a project management mindset to oversee implementations and upgrades.
• Manage a team of DBAs, analysts, and other Oracle EBS roles as the team expands.
• Ensure compliance with on-prem Oracle systems, adhering to company policies and standards.
• Learn and understand business processes and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with professional services to support system implementations and enhancements.
• Oversee best practices in database management, financial close processes, and SaaS applications for Finance, Payroll, and HR.
• Leverage healthcare industry experience (preferred) to navigate regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive Oracle EBS experience, including configuration and optimization. (5-8+ years' experience)
• Proven experience in supporting or leading migration projects. (5-8+ years' experience)
• Three to five years' experience in a leadership / manager type role primarily supporting internal applications and ERP's.
• Integration expertise with multiple internal applications and supporting systems.
• Strong leadership skills, with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive projects to successful completion.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical details into understandable business terms.
• Project management mindset, with experience overseeing IT projects from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with on-prem Oracle systems.
• Experience in managing or transitioning from an individual contributor to a team leader role.
• Knowledge of corporate applications and their integration into business processes.
• Understanding of data management best practices, particularly with large data volumes and daily outputs.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred, with knowledge of HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Preferred Certifications: PMP

In our commitment to transparency throughout the hiring process, we provide a target annual base salary range of $140,000 - $150,000 for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) experience, work location, and skills. Additionally, this position is eligible for comprehensive benefits provided by the hiring employer.
