As a leading television station serving the vibrant community of Orlando, Florida, were committed to excellence and seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an IT Manager/Network Administrator.
Responsibilities
The IT Manager/Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the station IT environment including desktop support. The IT Manager will be responsible for a blend of Windows Servers, Windows Professional workstations, WAN, LAN, VPN, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Linux / Unix, Multicast, Unicast, VOIP, and IP video streaming and Virtual Machine environments. Guiding the implementation of facilities infrastructure from the ground up with minimal supervision. Documenting new and existing infrastructure deployments.
Qualifications Required
Minimum 5 years of networking experience.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal written.
Ability to work independently and manage team responsibilities and be able to work under stressful conditions with a sense of urgency.
Experience in broadcast systems is a plus.
Work experience should include:
Enterprise network design and support, network security protocols, high-availability fault-tolerant distributed storage systems, Firewalls & IDS (Cisco)VPN (Cisco/Juniper), Routers and Switches (Cisco/HP/ 3Com/Brocade), Linux and UNIX, Windows Workstation
System design and administration.
Active Directory group policy management and integration using ldap and kerberos, virtualized servers (VmWare).
Experience in project management and estimating.
Software application programming is a plus.
Cisco systems management and command line programming a plus
A high level of initiative and hand on experience to execute hardware, software and network troubleshooting in a timely and effective manner.
Experience in broadcast systems is preferred. These technologies include Video Servers, Automation Systems, Nonlinear Editing Systems, IPTV, File Formats, Firewalls, and Routers.
