IT Director of Infrastructure

Job Summary

The Director of IT Infrastructure leads several teams supporting the technology of the Company and our employees. Primary responsibilities include management of the corporate networks and databases, deskside support staff and voice communication systems.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The Rawlings Company will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Hours : Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. Flexible schedule options available between 7am - 7pm after six months of employment.

Setting: Professional office environment (with hybrid schedule potentially available).

Responsibilities

• Manage the corporate network, including administration of existing infrastructure, planning for growth and expansion, and operation of equipment supporting communications circuits.
• Supervise Database Administrators, System Engineers, and Network Engineers.
• Oversee operation and expansion of corporate voice systems.
• Design and champion system projects including migrations to secure cloud environments such as Microsoft M365/O365, Cloud Adoption, and Azure Landing Zones.
• Manage hardware/software vendor relationships, including the administration of bid processes and procurement of equipment and software. Must maintain strong collaboration with selected vendors.
• Develop, monitor, and report on key infrastructure metrics.
• Supervise the creation and continuous updates of policies and procedures, including deskside support, hardware and software procurement, network administration, and information security.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information security, or engineering is strongly preferred. Experience closely related to the position requirements will be considered.
• Five years administering IT infrastructure procedures, including experience in system design, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
• Proven history with the migration and management of cloud solutions.
• Demonstrates strong collaboration skills with internal customers and management, including a strong sense of commitment to satisfying customer requests.
• Focused on documentation and procedures, while creating repeatable, predictable processes.
• Team oriented with strong ability to work well with others.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare desirable.
