IT Director

Job Description:

Ralph is a global creative agency specializing in the entertainment sector. We are looking for an IT Director who can work with our leadership team to ensure we are running efficiently and effectively whilst making sure we maintain security over the content we receive and produce for our globally recognized clients across music, movies and television.

We are mostly Mac based and currently run local file servers accessed internally and externally through Palo Alto firewalls in each of our offices. We are under constant scrutiny by clients as to how we handle their content across receiving, storing, handling during our working process and sending back to the client or any other recipients.

We run a hybrid work environment with options for people to work from the office entirely on projects that require such levels of security.

You will work with a leadership team that have hands-on experience of what the business does on a granular level and a solid understanding of IT and the existing infrastructure. You will work closely with them to solidify our existing setup and plan exciting future evolution as we move even more cloud based.

Key hardware and software we currently use:

• Google Workspace (extensively)
• Palo Alto 820 Firewalls
• JamF for managing our endpoints (almost exclusively Macs)
• Synology file servers
• Mac OS (almost exclusively)
• Netgear switches
• Slack
• Zoom, Telephone & Zoom Rooms

About the Role:

• Own the process for IT support for users (very minimal day-to-day)
• Manage and optimize endpoints through JamF
• Understand our various client’s security requirements, most are based on TPN, which we are members and certified with
• Optimize our network and file server infrastructure for performance and security
• Work with the team on bespoke setup of equipment/infrastructure - such as if a 3D artist requires a PC instead of a Mac
• Work with HR on team onboarding and training materials and workshops for our commonly used systems and tools
• Plan future developments to improve our security clearance with clients and improve our workflow and efficiency
• Work with client systems as we often take the lead from them as to existing systems they currently use
• An understanding of physical security systems such as CCTV and keycard access to secure rooms
• Reviewing, updating, maintaining and implementing policies and logs

Salary Range:

$130,00 - $150,000 USD
