Responsibilities

The Development Manager leads our Sitecore eCommerce platform team within the Information Systems department. This role involves the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our Sitecore-based eCommerce solutions. The Development Manager will play a critical role in technical delivery and solution design, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Operational management of the MARCOM technology platform including but not limited to Sitecore and Magento
  • In collaboration with different teams define and manage operational KPIs and SLAs
  • Collaborate with the cross functional teams including IT, managed service provider and business in the management of MARCOM projects and underlying platform
  • Provide technical leadership as required
  • Plan and manage operational support and any new product development stages
  • Reporting status updates to senior managers
  • Ensuring that projects and products are delivered on time and within budget
  • Overseeing product deployment and integration
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues involving responsible teams
  • Evaluating product performance metrics and facilitating adjustments
  • Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Keeping up with advancements in product technologies
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners. Ensure clear communication and alignment on project status, timelines, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar
  • 7-8 years of hands-on experience in technical program management, preferably in a related industry for MARCOM business functions
  • Strong familiarity with the Microsoft stack, Angular, and Node.js, React is nice to have.
  • Proven expertise in managing and developing on the Sitecore platform. (XP & Content Hub)
  • Experience with both front-end and back-end development processes.
  • Extensive experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Sitecore certification is a plus
  • Proven expertise in managing Sitecore platform, including configuration, customization, and maintenance.
  • Hands on experience in the overall Sitecore operational support including patching, upgrade, incident management, deployment, release management etc
  • Proven experience managing different projects and operational support and provide technical leadership as needed
  • Advanced knowledge of the full life-cycle operational management of technology platforms and product development
  • Extensive experience establishing and meeting operational KPIs and SLAs
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including IT and business
  • Experience reporting status updates to senior managers
  • Experience working with external vendors, contract negotiations and vendor management
  • Hands on experience with managed service model
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in software development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Ability to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues
  • Ability to keep up with advancements in the field of technical product development
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and a team player
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
