IT Configuration Manager

We are seeking qualified candidates for an IT Configuration Manager to support MOREgroup and our brands, which include: E4H Environments for Health Architecture, Huckabee, IEG and TSK.

The IT Configuration Manager is crucial in managing and overseeing the configuration of software and systems across the MOREgroup’s IT infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining system stability and security through meticulous management of updates, patch management, software deployments, and operating system provisioning. Developing software packaging, staging deployments and leveraging various endpoint solutions is pivotal. This position ensures that all configurations and deployments are maintained and executed according to industry best practices and organizational compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous management and oversight of system configurations across various platforms, leveraging Microsoft Intune and Ivanti Endpoint Solutions.
• Plan and execute regular system updates and patch management to enhance security and functionality.
• Manage the deployment of new software applications and updates across the organization.
• Oversee the provisioning of operating systems and ensure the versions remain current and align with the latest organizational versions, standards and security policies.
• Regularly review and update configuration management policies to ensure compliance with external regulations and internal standards published by internal legal and security teams and other industry standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with IT security to align configuration management activities with the overall security posture of the organization.
• Continuously monitor the effectiveness of configuration management strategies.
• Provide comprehensive reports on configuration status, compliance, and effectiveness of the deployed configurations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT configuration management, preferably in a large-scale environment.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Intune and familiarity with Ivanti Endpoint solutions.
• Strong PowerShell and other scripting and automation languages preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to non - technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or other relevant fields.
• Ability to analyze software deployment data and system reports to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Strategic approach to integration of IT configuration practices with broader IT and business objectives.
