IT Compliance Consultant

Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced Qualys Compliance Workstream Consultant to work on a project with one of our premier clients in the technology industry. Applicants must be able to work for any US employer without additional work visa sponsorship.

What YOU will do

• Assess hardening guides from technology teams for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards such as CIS, DISA, vendor, etc.
• Offer consultation and feedback on deviations and exceptions to hardening requirements
• Contribute to developing internal hardening standards for operating systems, middleware, network devices, and other technologies, including Windows, Linux, Unix, F5, Cisco, macOS, etc.
• Utilize the Qualys Policy Compliance module to create scan policies aligned with tailored hardening standards
• Tailor and scope controls and policies to match organizational requirements
• Collaborate with technology and enterprise architecture stakeholders to maintain workflow efficiency
• Work with enterprise data stakeholders to develop metrics and visualizations for policy compliance
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting for various enterprise architecture layers
• Create automated workflows for data gathering, analysis, and reporting
• Establish tracking metrics for exceptions to the standard configurations
  
  

What YOU will bring us

• Proven experience with Qualys Policy Compliance module
• Strong understanding of industry standards for system hardening (CIS, DISA, vendor-specific)
• Experience in developing and maintaining compliance policies for operating systems, middleware, and network devices
• Ability to collaborate with technology and enterprise architecture stakeholders
• Expertise in creating automated workflows and developing metrics and visualizations for policy compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
